Brought to you by and the .Vail official report: 1″ new snow in last 24 hoursVail Daily field report: Felt like an new inch on top of the existing surface.Weather: Cold and snowy, low visibility.Run of the day: Gandy Dancer was groomed.Liftline status: No lines anywhere on the mountain at 9: 30 a.m.Breakdown: It was snowing in Vail this morning despite predictions from NOAA that the precipitation would have mostly passed us by now. The inch or so of dust on top of the surface is light and slippery, be careful out there. Most of the hill is now open, so there’s plenty of terrain to get out and enjoy.Snowcast: Looks pretty dry for the next week or so.
