On the Hill video ski report: Slushy morning at Vail
Vail official report: 1″ new snow in last 24 hours
Vail Daily official report: Nothing new for this morning
Weather: Partly cloudy and warm
Liftline status: Golden Peak and Gondola One not bad; Lionshead crowded
Run of the day: Blue Ox was groomed
Breakdown: It did not get extremely cold last night, and so it didn’t take long for the surface to begin softening up this morning. By 10 a.m. things on the lower elevations were riding like buttery mashed potatoes. It should be a great day of spring skiing today.
Snowcast: Looks like something could be headed our way for Monday.
