Vail Daily field report: Felt like 2 inches in some spots, but also felt like the full 9 inches in others
Weather: Overcast and cold but the sun is threatening to show itself
Liftline status: By 9:30 a.m. Chair 8 and the Eagle Bahn in Lionshead were packed. Chair 6 had no wait whatsoever at 9 a.m.
Run of the Day: The Chair 10 terrain didn’t get beat up too bad yesterday
Breakdown: After a phenomenal day at Vail yesterday, where we saw 7 inches fall during the day and another 2 overnight, today (Friday) is a great day to get out and enjoy some turns. Tree runs and stash spots will be powdery, and the few inches that fell last night over yesterday’s packed down terrain will make you feel like you’re floating over that surface.-
Snowcast: 20-30 percent chance for another storm Sunday-Monday
