Vail official report: 0 inches new snow, 18-inch base at mid-mountain, 32 inches total snowfall year to date.
Liftline status: Pretty standard, small group at Eagle Bahn’s opening which quickly dissipated.
Weather:-Very sunny today, making it a little warmer.
Breakdown: The excitement about-the forecast for tomorrow and the rest of the week is-hard to miss among the regular snowriders here at Vail, but that’s not to say there isn’t plenty of fun to be had today as their-world-renowned-grooming crew had a-comb on this morning’s surface that would leave even the most discriminating skier in awe and appreciation. Let’s hope it’s covered in powder the rest of the month!

The person found in the Blue River on Monday afternoon has been identified as John Scott Still, 53, according to the Summit County Coroner’s Office.
