Report: Vail Daily reporter John LaConte joins the Frick family from Houston, Texas, along with Vail Valley Anglers for a day of fly fishing on the Eagle River in Wolcott. The Eagle River was running at about 1,300 cubic feet per second in that location on Monday, which is still pretty fast for this time of year.

Today’s forecast: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. — National Weather Service
