On the Hill: More snow at Beaver Creek for Day 1 of World Championships

BEAVER CREEK OFFICIAL REPORT: 0 inches in past 24 hours; 4 inches in past 48 hours; 4″ in past week.

SNOWCAST: There’s a chance of snow Monday-Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

REPORT: It snowed a few inches after the official report, about 3-4 inches in places. The mountain is bustling with activity for the Alpine World Ski Championships, taking place Feb. 2-15. Today’s event is the women’s downhill training.
