On the Hill: Mountain biking in Edwards
June 3, 2013
Today’s activity: Mountain biking.
Today’s weather: Cold and cloudy, about 50 degrees with on and off showers all day. It snowed in Vail this morning, with flakes reaching the valley floor.
Forecast: We’re looking at similar conditions for tomorrow, say forecasters.
Conditions: It’s been raining, but on the Berry Creek trail in Edwards that’s not necessarily a bad thing. That trail is dry enough that it will get dusty at times, and the rain definitely helps prevent that from happening. It also cuts down on the number of people out enjoying the trail, so if you have a decent rain jacket and don’t mind the occasional shower, it’s a great day for mountain biking.
