On the Hill: New snow at Beaver Creek, more on the way

BEAVER CREEK OFFICIAL REPORT: 3″ in past 24 hours, 6″ in past 48 hours and 26″ in past week.

SNOWCAST: It’s another cloudy morning with light snow falling, and a slight chance of snow Friday and Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. More snow is in the forecast for Sunday through Tuesday.

REPORT: Beaver Creek is the gift that keeps on giving with lots new snow every day for the past five days … and more coming. The cold temperatures have kept the powder nice and soft for skiers and snowboarders. Most of the mountain is open, so there is powder pockets all over.
