One lane of eastbound I-70 open after crash
Vail CO Colorado
EAGLE ” Authorities have opened the right lane of the interstate after a car crash closed the eastbound lanes near Eagle just after 1 p.m., Monday.
A car and a pick-up truck were involved in the crash. The pickup truck was hauling a wood shed on a trailer and that fell on interstate, leading authorities to close it, said Sherrie Johnson, dispatcher for the Colorado State Patrol.
The driver of the car was taken to Valley View Hospital for minor injuries, Johnson said.
Both lanes should open in about 20 minutes, Johnson said shortly before 2 p.m.
