Open space open house in Eagle
May 9, 2011
EAGLE, Colorado – The town of Eagle’s open space will be the topic of three informational open house sessions in May.
The main open house will be held at the Brush Creek Pavilion (in Eagle Ranch) from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday in conjunction with the Party for the Planet.
For those unable to attend Saturday’s open house, similar sessions will be held Thursday and Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Town Hall, 200 Broadway, in the board meeting room.
The purpose of the open house is to present information about the different aspects of the town’s open space program. Charts and maps will be used explaining the program’s history, how it is funded, inventory of open space lands, management, recreational use and the current rules governing its use.
Citizen input will be taken regarding what the community would like to see in the future. This is an opportunity to voice any suggestions, recommendations or concerns about the open space program and how the open space lands should be used and managed.
