Our fans love/hate us
The adulation/villification are pouring in.
“We love you on the radio. Keep hammering those spoiled kids in their ridiculous pants!”
“You make me want to puke! Your brain is rotted from too much geezer music.”
Movin’ right along.
More Pioneer people
Vail’s Founders Days are Dec. 10-14 and the Vaily Daily is doing a commemorative edition. You were wonderful in helping us put together the one in October, and we’re going to ask you once again. We need pictures, stories, memorabilia, just about anything associated with the founding and development of Vail. Call us at 949-0555, ext. 615, or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks!
EVHS fan bus rolls with adults on board
Eagle Valley is running a fan bus to Eaton for Saturday’s state semi-final football game, and in updated information we’re told they’ll have actual adult supervision on board. It leaves at 8 a.m. from Eagle Valley High School in Gypsum, and costs $10. We’re told one of the district’s biggest, toughest bus drivers will be in the back of the bus, with a whip and a chair. Your middle schoolers are safe in his tender care. Any other adults who want to also can go. Call 328-8960 for information.
Love is in the air
The Vail Mountain School Players invite all to a “Symphony of Love Stories” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the VMS Campus Center. It’s two one-act plays about love: “Who Am I This Time,” and “A Rose for Emily.” Curtain is 7 p.m. Tickets are $3 for adults and $1 for students.
It’s all in black and white
The Friends of the Dance Black and White Ball is 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Cordillera Valley Club’s Chaparral Restaurant. A few tickets still are available at $75. There’s an auction, dinner, the Dancin’ Fools Revue and dancing to D.J. Mac. Call Joanne Morgan at 748-1064.
