SILVERTHORNE, Colorado ” The Outlets at Silverthorne will host its third annual Shopping Extravaganza on Saturday. The all-day shopping event offers goodies, discounts and lunch while benefiting a local nonprofit of the shopper’s choice.

Tickets are $20; $10 of each ticket goes to one of the following organizations: National Repertory Orchestra, Summit Cancer Support Group, Think First/Vail Valley Medical Center, Team Summit Athletics, Summit Community Orchestra and the American Heart Association.

The Shopping Extravaganza event hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, with registration going from 9-11 a.m. in the Green Village, at 246-0 Rainbow Drive, next to the Nine West store.

The ticket includes a chance at $10,000 in raffle prizes, discounts at stores, a gift goodie bag, free lunch at Chipotle, wine tasting, entertainment, a dessert bar, coffee and apple cider and free gift wrap.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

The Outlets at Silverthorne’s Santa’s Workshop lets children and their families visit with Santa and enjoy hot cocoa and treats in a warm and festive atmosphere. Free gift-wrapping will be provided by local nonprofit organizations for all Outlets at Silverthorne shoppers with the presentation of a store receipt at the Gift Wrap area.

Santa’s Workshop will be open from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday; Friday, Nov. 28; Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 29-30; Saturday, Dec. 6 (Santa will be gone at the North Pole on Dec. 6, but free gift wrap, beverages and treats will still be offered); Sunday, Dec. 7; Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 13-14; and Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 20-21.

Santa’s Workshop is located in the log cabin building in the Green Village on Rainbow Drive across from Chipotle’s Mexican Grill.

Moonlight Madness

All stores at the Outlets at Silverthorne will open at 11 p.m. on Thanksgiving evening, Thursday, Nov. 27, for a Moonlight Madness Sale at the shops throughout the night.

There will be hourly giveaways through 7 a.m. on Nov. 28 including lift tickets to Sunlight Mountain Resort and Loveland ski area, Glenwood Springs Cave/Tram passes; Pikes Peak Cog Railway tickets; Rio Grande Railroad Winter Wonderland Express trip and more. Shoppers can register to win a trip to Las Vegas that will be awarded on the 12th day of Christmas,

Free hot beverages and cookie stations will be in every village for midnight madness shoppers throughout the night.
