Outside’s second annual Powder Play Tour visits Breckenridge
BRECKENRIDGE – Outside magazine’s second annual Powder Play Tour, which will showcase this year’s greatest new winter apparel, along with performances by up-and-coming folk star The White Buffalo, stops in Breckenridge Thursday and Keystone on Friday. The tour will travel to 10 premier mountain resorts in January and early February. “Outside regularly covers the hottest new trends in the ski industry,” said Outside’s events manager, Jennifer Wittman. “The Powder Play Tour brings our edit to life by showcasing the best new winter equipment at premier ski resorts with performances by a popular rising musical artist-it’s a winning combination.”The Powder Play Tour will set out in one of only three recently released BaseCamp Airstream trailers, designed for adventure travel, and tour the hottest mountain towns in four western states. The tour will display cutting-edge skis, snowboards, sleds, snowshoes, gloves, goggles, and more. Free samples will be available, along with the chance to win top-of-the-line ski equipment and epic trips. This year’s product partners are Polartec, Nordica Skis, High Sierra Bags, Marmot Gloves, Pro-Tech Sunscreen, Nalgene, and Mountaingear.com.Outside will also bring great music to the slopes on this year’s tour. The White Buffalo, an up-and-coming folk artist, will perform at each of the ski lodges and resorts on the tour.
