Edwards latest live music venue, The Rumpus Room has live music on tap for the off-season. The Eric McFadden Trio plays at 10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19. And the Chicago-based band Hello Dave plays at the Rumpus Room on Oct. 26 at 9 p.m. For more information check out shakeyourrumpus.com.

Missing your college days where you were reining beer pong champion? Not to worry Avon bars Bobs Place, Loaded Joes, Finnegans Wake and The Brass Parrot are hosting bar games from 8 p.m. to midnight every Thursday through Nov. 16. Form a team and compete in pool, darts, beer pong and other games to win weekly prizes including a trip for two to Mexico, kegerator, snowboard, Vail Resorts lift tickets and more.

The first-ever Harvest Festival will take place at Colorado Mountain College on Oct. 24. In addition to a bonfire (watched over by the colleges fire science students and staff), attendees will be treated to free food including hot dogs, chili and smores, while lounging on bales of hay to ring in the fall. In preparation for Halloween, children can attend in their costumes and take part in a costume parade and other activities, supervised by HERO scholars in the colleges early childhood program.The HERO scholarship program at CMC is funded by private businesses, as well as the CMC Foundation. HERO scholars are held to high standards and must be enrolled in six or more credit hours, as well as maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.5. The festivities take place from 4 to 7 p.m., at the CMC campus at 150 Miller Ranch Road in Edwards.
