BEAVER CREEK — Paderewski Fine Art welcomes international mountain lovers to enjoy Colorado native Ralph Oberg’s newest collection of works during the 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships.
For his 60th birthday, Oberg spent seven weeks traveling and painting throughout Nepal, Switzerland, France and Austria. He painted a range of scenes; however, most notable were his mountain pieces. From glacier-fed lakes under the vast Swiss Alps to the prayer flags blowing in the breeze below the mountains of Nepal, Oberg’s passion for the mountains can be appreciated by all. It is no coincidence that his work is loved by guests who travel to Beaver Creek to enjoy the majestic skiing and mountain views.
Oberg’s paintings can be seen in the House Chamber at the Colorado State Capitol Building, part of the permanent collection at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming, and in the Nature in Art Museum in Gloucester, England. Stop by the gallery to view his body of work.
Paderewski Fine Art is located in Beaver Creek, on the Plaza level of the Hyatt, across from the ice rink. Call 970-949-6036 or visit http://www.paderewskifineart.com for more information.
