Parking restrictions in Vail for holiday weekend

VAIL, Colorado ” With peak season parking restrictions in place Friday through Monday, the town of Vail offers the following tips and reminders when it comes to getting to your Vail destination.
Leave your car at home and ride the bus. Vail has added two additional outlying morning loops and three additional outlying evening loops to supplement the scheduled routes. ECO regional transit is running its full winter schedule as well.
Free peak parking along the North Frontage Road in West Vail will be available Friday through Monday.-After Monday, it will again be available Friday through Sunday for the remainder of the season, plus Presidents’ Day, Feb. 16. –
Free parking is offered in the Village and LionsHead structures (lower levels) for the first 90 minutes all season long. Also, arrive after 3 p.m. for free parking in both structures until 3 a.m. seven days a week.
Short-term shopper parking is available in the VailVillage and LionsHead parking structures. The rate is $15 for up to 2.5 hours. Look for the yellow shopper parking signs at the Frontage Road entries.
Parking for late-arrivals can be found on the top deck of the VailVillage parking structure. The rate is $25 and is the last area to fill on a busy day.
Blue Parking Passes are restricted starting Jan. 16 and can be used for entry into the Lionshead parking structure until Jan. 19. On Jan. 20, the pass will also be good for entry into the Vail Village structure Monday through Thursdays until the final peak period, Feb. 13-16.
Green Parking Passes are also restricted starting Jan. 16 and are good for entry at FordPark and the Soccer Field only until Jan. 19. On Jan. 20, the pass will also be good for entry into the Lionshead parking structure.
