Party to benefit Gina Sprague Monday

BEAVER CREEK – Gina Sprague, a long-time local, was paralyzed from the waist down in a serious car accident on March 11. She is currently recovering at Craig Hospital in Denver, where she will spend the next two months. Sprague, a Georgia native and Eagle-Vail resident, has worked throughout the valley – at the Bully Ranch, Park Plaza, the Beaver Creek Chophouse, and most recently for Highline Sports. Highline, with the help of the Beaver Creek Resort Company, is hosting a benefit party for Sprague at the Vilar Center for the Arts in Beaver Creek from 7-10 p.m. Monday. All money raised will go to Sprague for her recovery expenses. She is planning on relocating in the valley to a handicapped-accessible home.There will be a $20 admission fee/minimum donation. The night will include music from Denver’s DJ Goldie, heavy appetizers from Provisions catering, dancing, cash bar and both silent and live auctions.
