‘Peach Jubilee’ at the Minturn Market Saturday
VAIL CO, Colorado
MINTURN –From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday the Minturn Market will celebrate peach season in style with a “Peach Jubilee.” Vendors will show off their “peachy” items and peach sampling will be in full swing.
“Grandma Tony” from Austin Family Farms will host a free canning demonstration, which will feature how to can peaches. Tony Austin is also excited for this Saturday’s event since their family farm will have about 5 to 6 different varieties of peaches available for sale.
The Minturn Market has numerous vendors selling items ranging from fresh breads, homemade jams, artwork and clothing to baskets, veggies and jewelry.
This week’s free live music will be performed by Vail local, Kevin Danzig in the Gallegos Tent from noon to 2 p.m. Danzig writes and performs modern folk and acoustic rock tunes as well as selected cover songs, accompanied by acoustic guitar, ukulele and harmonica; He plays tambourine with his foot. Originality is Danzig’s hallmark; his lyrics are invariably intelligent, the instrumental arrangements are in perfect sync and skillfully executed.
