Photo: Art exhibit at Vail library features work of local artist Nate ‘Natron’ Smith

Pointillism features prominently in many of local artist Nate “Natron” Smith’s works, such as this one, titled “Mount Prince Purple Snow,” completed just after the musician Prince passed away. The Vail Public Library will host “Abstract Visions of Beauty,” featuring of Smith’s 40 mixed-media pieces, through Friday, Sept. 30. Admission is free. The library is located at 292. W. Meadow Drive in Vail and hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
