The Betty Ford Alpine Gardens Education Center will host a nature-writing workshop with Vail resident Jodie Hollander on Sunday, Sept. 27, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. The workshop is for writers of all persuasions and ability levels and will focus on creating powerful writing amidst the backdrop of the natural beauty of the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. Hollander will provide instruction on how to develop and structure your writing and also share tips and insights from her own creative process. Prepare for discussion, writing prompts and individual work time in the gardens, with time for sharing and questions at the end. The workshop is $35 per person; bring a notepad or journal.
