Starting Tuesday, Oct. 11, Stacey Vachon and Brendan Finneran will lead a five-week ski conditioning series at Dogma Athletica in Edwards to promote a healthy transition from summer to winter fitness. This series will focus on metabolic fitness without jumping and comes with a full program of additional workouts to complete on your own, including recommended Dogma yoga classes. The series runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 1 p.m. though Nov. 10. Cost to participate is $300 for members or $425 for nonmembers. Call Dogma at 970-688-4433 for more information.

Settlements reached in Avon water tank litigation

The Upper Eagle Regional Water Authority, the Traer Creek developer and various contractors have reached a settlement in a three-year legal fight over a failed 2 million gallon water tank that was meant to serve the development.
