The Eagle County Fair & Rodeo officially kicks off Wednesday, July 20. The day begins with the 4-H Rabbit Show at the Eagle River Center at 8 a.m., and fair-goers can walk around and view livestock and open class exhibits, browse vendor booths and participate in educational seminars on the Fair & Rodeo grounds free of charge starting at 9 a.m. The carnival opens at 3 p.m., and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association-sanctioned rodeo begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday is Lil Buckaroo Night at the rodeo, with $1 tickets for children ages 4 to 12. Adult rodeo tickets are $20, and children 3 and younger are free, provided they sit on a family memberâs lap throughout the performance. The Eagle County Fair & Rodeo runs through Saturday, July 23.
