The Minturn Summer Concert Series welcomes The Altitones to the stage at Little Beach Park in Minturn at 6 p.m. today. The Altitones are a six-piece band, with Memphis, Tennessee-born Tommy “Gun” Anderson on lead vocals, rhythm and lead guitar; Mr. Miami, Mauricio Cadavid, on vocals, lead and rhythm guitar; Altoona, Pennsylvania’s Jude “The Dude” Wargo on washboard, percussion and accordion; Houston, Texas, runaway Ben Ray Swonke on drums; Colorado native Sam Bee on vocals and the bass guitar; and another Miami native, Brian “Jordie” Jordan on trumpet and percussion. The band plays an array of tunes, from rock ’n’ roll and honky-tonk to blues, reggae and zydeco. Concertgoers are invited to bring a blanket to sit on, a picnic dinner and 3.2 percent alcohol by volume cans of beer only to the park for the free show. For more information, visit
