Local six-piece The Altitones is returning to Agave for Tacos & Tunes on Tuesday, Nov. 22. Formed in Avon, The Altitones play an array of “soul-awakening, body-shaking, mind-blowing” tunes, said lead guitarist Mauricio Cadavid. The eclectic array of music has both originals and covers ranging from rock ’n’ roll, blues, honkytonk and ’80s tunes to reggae and even zydeco. The band is made up of front man Tommy “Memphis” Anderson, Miami transplant Mauricio Cadavid on lead guitar and vocals, Jude Wargo from Pittsburgh on percussion and accordion, Ben Swonke with the Houston flavor on drums and Brian “Jordy” Jordan, who hails from both Miami and Pennsylvania, on trumpet.
