South Carolina band Cranford Hollow will crank up the music at Vail Brewing Co. on Friday, July 29. The Hilton Head Island quartet, composed of vocalist and guitarist John Cranford, bass man Phillip Sirmans, drummer Randy Rockalotta and fiddler and vocalist Eric Reid, plays what they call “low-country stomp.” Elements of blues, old-time country and occasional psychedelic fiddle and guitar come together with Southern mountain melodies in an energetic, engaging musical root bag sprinkled with some Sea Island hoodoo. The music starts at 7 p.m., and there’s no cover. To learn more about the band, visit cranfordhollowmusic.com.
