Beginning Friday, July 29, the Vail Valley Art Guild’s Vail Summer Art Institute will present a three-day nude and landscape workshop with instructor Clem Robins, an internationally known landscape painter whose 2003 North Light book “The Art of Figure Drawing” has been translated into French, Spanish, Italian, German and Chinese. Students will have the opportunity to complete three landscapes with a nude model, and there will be demonstrations, Q-and-A sessions and group critiques. The workshop meets at Art of the Vail Valley Gallery in Avon each morning and runs from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 29, through Sunday, July 31. The cost is $325.
