Photo: Second to last FAC at Eagle’s Nest with The Sessh
The Sessh will play Friday Afternoon Club at Eagle’s Nest on Vail Mountain on Friday, Aug. 28. Bursting with energy, emotion and unpredictable experimentation, the Colorado-based trio tears open the artistic envelope, bringing both nuance and eclectic strength to its funk-livetronica-oriented repertoire. Rooted in New Orleans funk, the band’s sound is both atmospheric and ambitious, without losing its pedal-to-the-metal power. Festivities for FAC begin at 5 p.m. every Friday throughout the summer on Talon’s Deck, with free live music, food and drink specials and Bud Light’s weekly drawing for a chance to win a $200 American Express gift card. All performances are free, and the Eagle Bahn Gondola is free to 2015-16 pass holders.
