Photo: See ‘Red’ at Art of the Valley Gallery with new exhibit

Go to Art of the Valley Gallery in February to see how Vail Valley Art Guild artists and photographers interpret the theme “Red.” The new exhibit launches Friday, Feb. 5, with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Vail Valley Art Guild’s inaugural First Friday event, featuring complimentary wine and cheese. Thirty-two artists have submitted up to three pieces each reflecting their interpretation of “Red.” Also on display are pieces from the Guild’s “Snow” exhibit at the Riverwalk gallery, which have been moved to Art of the Valley Gallery. The Vail Valley Art Guild is a nonprofit organization promoting the growth and awareness of visual arts in the Vail Valley.
