Pizza One opens in Eagle

Special to the DailyMiro Gavrilov and Lubo Kolev are ready to serve at Pizza One in Eagle. The new business is owned and operated by four partners, including Gavrilov and Kolev.

Out with the old, in with the new – pizza, that is.

Four guys who used to work at other pizza restaurants around the valley recently set off on their own and opened Pizza One in Eagle at the old Domino’s location, 94 Market St., near City Market.

“We’re all equal partners in this,” said Rafail Goranov. “Our aim is to keep it basic, with better customer service, faster delivery and better pizza.”

Goranov said the types of pizzas they make are pretty much what a person would find most places but what sets Pizza One apart is fresh ingredients.

“Our vegetables and sauces are bought fresh and used that day,” he said. “We offer basic stuff with better products.”

They also make their own dough.

Pizza One has some tables for customers to eat there but the restaurant is designed as a take-out/delivery operation.

Prices range from $8.99 for a 12-inch cheese pizza to $19.99 for a 16-inch specialty pizza. Specialty pies include Supreme, Meat Lovers, Veggie Lovers, Volcano Hawaiian, American and a Cheeseburger with Bacon pizza.

There are also appetizers, such as chicken wings and breadsticks, as well as salads and desserts.

Four value meals include various combinations of the above, such as a 14-inch one-topping pizza with breadsticks and two cans of soda for $16.99 or two 14-inch one-topping pizzas for $19.99.

For a limited time, Pizza One is featuring “Deals of the Day,” where a different deal is offered for each day of the week. For example, Monday’s deal is three 12-inch pizzas for $5.99 each.

The hours for Pizza One are 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Delivery services Eagle and Gypsum.

A menu can be found online at and the business can be reached at 970-328-5200.
