Poker comes to Vail for a good cause

VAIL, Colorado Tickets for the second annual Hold ‘Em For Hope benefit poker tournament and auction in Vail, Colorado are now on sale through the Vail Valley Foundation.The 2009 edition of Hold ‘Em For Hope, which takes place March 20, is held in conjunction with the American Ski Classic, which kicks off on March 19 on Vail Mountain’s Golden Peak. Held at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort & Spa, Hold ‘Em For Hope will get underway at 7:30 p.m., with a Las Vegas-style casino buffet, live and silent auctions and the Texas Hold ‘Em tournament. Ticket and poker proceeds from the evening will benefit the Vail Valley Foundation’s valleywide educational initiatives.A limited number of poker spots are available and priced at $500 per person, with the overall tournament winner entered into an upcoming NBC poker tournament.
