Police: Drunk Aussi tries to buy cocaine from 15-year-old girl

SUMMIT COUNTY – An intoxicated, 43-year-old woman entered a motel room near Breckenridge one recent night trying to buy cocaine, scaring the 15-year-old girl in the room.

The girl said the woman, who appeared to be from Australia, was quite intoxicated and “so messed up it made her cry,” according to a report from Summit County Sheriff’s Office.

When a deputy arrived, the woman was seen in the motel’s parking lot “screaming incoherently” at motel residents, who were telling her to be quiet and leave. The deputy separated the woman from the people and brought her near a laundry room, according to the report.



The woman’s eyes were dilated, she spoke with slurred speech and “had trouble communicating, as she could not remember what had happened for more than a few seconds at a time,” according to the report.

The woman’s clothes were disheveled and not appropriate for the sub-freezing temperature outside.

A preliminary breath test revealed a reading of 0.251 breath alcohol concentration.

The woman had no recolletion of arguing with people and contested that she “had not consumed any alcohol nor had she ingested any type of drug” according to the report.

The woman, who refused to go home and was unable to contact anyone who could care for her, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct and placed into protective custody.
