Police investigating dead puppy near Gypsum
GYPSUM, Colorado – The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office is looking into an apparent case of animal cruelty.
On Monday, the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a Bureau of Animal Protection Agent for the Eagle Valley Humane Society. The agent received information regarding a dead puppy found on Forest Service Road 8380 in the Spring Creek area south of the Eagle County Regional Airport near Gypsum. The puppy was approximately 3 and 6 months of age at the time of death, which was apparently caused by animal cruelty, police said.
