Police are looking for more information about a hit-and-run accident that involved a child on a bike.The accident occured just before 7 p.m. on Oct. 3. The child was riding the bike south in a crosswalk at Grundel Way and Valley Road when a vehicle struck the child’s bike. The vehicle pushed the bicycle about 15 feet and then drove away without stopping to check on the child’s condition. The press release did not state the child’s condition. Anyone with information about the crime or the people involved is asked to call the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office. If your tip leads to the arrest and indictment of any suspect involved, you could earn up to a $1,000 reward from the Crime Stoppers.
