Political parties shifting money

When Colorado’s gubernatorial candidates release their fundraising records next month, Republican Dan Maes will show a $250 check from the state party chairman.

Whether Republicans follow chairman Dick Wadhams’ example remains to be seen.

Maes has been unable to raise significant money throughout his campaign, although he attended a fundraiser Tuesday in Dallas with the Pauls – Ron and Rand.
