Battle Mountain golfer Makena Thayer won her second-straight tournament of the 2025 season on Monday. The junior shot an even par 71 to top the 71-person Tiger Tourney field at Bookcliff Country Club in Grand Junction.

She finished four strokes ahead of runner-up Kadence Ulrich of Fruita Monument, which won the team crown with 251 total points. Battle Mountain (286) finished fifth, just four strokes behind Glenwood Springs (282).
