VAIL – The annual Vail Mountain School Gala, held Nov. 28 at the Vail Marriott, proved another huge success for the East Vail private school.

This year’s psychedelic 1970s theme was inspired by the band – The Fab 4, a Beatles cover band from Boulder. Proud parents, faculty, volunteers and supporters showed up in droves, some not afraid of to prove their love of polyester. Volunteers worked ‘Eight Days a Week’ to ensure the success of the evening. High ticket items included a beautiful red guitar autographed by the Rolling Stones, framed Beatles’ memorabilia, and (‘Here Comes the Sun’) vacation homes in Santa Barbara, Nassau and the British Virgin Islands.

Considering these prize items, it’s no surprise that the event netted more than $300,000 for academic programs, and tuition scholarships. To learn more about the Vail Mountain School, visit http://www.vms.edu.Vail, Colorado
