Rain, snow in Vail Valley’s late-weekend forecast

VAIL, Colorado –Saturday should be a spectacular day in the Vail Valley, but rain and snow could fall again later Sunday, the National Weather Service says.
Another strong pacific storm will bring more rain and snow to the region beginning late Sunday and continuing into early next week, the National Weather Service says.
The Saturday forecast is mostly sunny, with a high near 59. There is a chance of rain and snow showers after midnight with lows around 30.
Sunday may start off sunny but there’s a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon.Wind gusts could reach 30 mph and the high is 60 degrees, the National Weather Service says.
Snow and rain are likely before midnight Sunday night with a chance of rain and showers continuing Monday and Tuesday, the Weather Service says.
