Rapid-Fire tunes at maya in avon

Maya’s popular Friday Afternoon Club continues Friday, July 1, with Arvada-based band Potcheen. Potcheen delivers a rapid-fire, high-energy show, mixing Celtic rock infused with bluegrass, ska, Cajun-zydeco, punk, folk and Americana all rolled up with a pirate sensibility. Located inside the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, the Maya terrace patio opens at 5 p.m., and the free live music starts at 6 p.m., with $3 tacos, $4 beers, $6 margaritas and $7 premium spirits. Also this summer, Maya is hosting Jazzy Mondays from 5 to 7 p.m., featuring live music by Tony Gulizia & Brian Loftus, with happy hour served all night long.
