Real estate surges in Vail Valley
Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL, Colorado – Real estate has spiked within the last 30 days, with a slew of residential properties going under contract, the Vail Board of Realtors says.
Seventy-seven residential properties went under contract between Aug. 10 and Sept. 10, that’s compared to 22 contracts between Jan 1 and July 10, statistics released by the Board of Realtors show.
“This is excellent news,” said Chad Brasington, chairman of the Vail Board of Realtors. “A lot of people have been closely watching this and for that to that spike is a sign of encouragement for everyone.”
A residential property goes under contract when the seller’s offer is accepted.
The contracts are for properties at a range of prices and throughout the valley, Brasington said.
