Realtors lead food drive for Salvation Army in Vail Valley

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado ” Prudential Colorado Properties is collecting canned goods to benefit the Vail Valley Salvation Army on Saturdays during the month of December.

Over the last three weekends, volunteers have collected nearly 300 bags of food at local City Markets and Village Market in Edwards.

“People in our community are very generous,” said Mac Hodge a Prudential Colorado Properties broker who volunteered for the food drive. “Shoppers bring out large bags filled with canned goods to donate to the food drive”

Thanks to the generosity of our community, food donations this past Saturday were the most the Salvation Army had ever received in one day. All food that is collected during the drive is delivered to the Salvation Army’s Holiday House.

The Prudential Colorado Properties annual food drive was started last winter and with will continue each holiday season. “There is a real need in our community and we are pleased to support the Vail Valley Salvation Army,” said John Slevin, owner, Prudential Colorado Properties.

The members of Prudential Colorado Properties who participated in the program are: Dave Ortiz, Laurie Slaughter, Mac Hodge, Mike Budd, Carolyn Piper, Judy Evans, Julia Parsons, Lucie Woodward, Will Miller, Mark Weinreich, Dave Cole, Terry Noland, Page Slevin, Gina Maltese, Patty Cuny, Anne Fitz, Robert and Karen Wilhelm, Frank McKibben, Stacy Palmer, and Jane Hand.
