Recycling improved in Vail

Richard Alsop, vice president of operations
Ultimate Specialties

Ultimate Specialties, LLC in Denver (Arvada) was flattered to receive mention in the 10 Sept. 10 article “Vail machine will flatten tons of cardboard.” We would like to thank Vail Daily’s Edward Stoner and Dominique Taylor for their interest in Vail’s new compactor.

We at Ultimate Specialties strive to be world leaders in providing solutions to the recycling industry, be it in products or services, to preserve our dwindling natural resources. So much of our refuse simply ends up on a landfill, a true waste of material as well as land. Food waste can be composted and nearly everything else, once cleaned, can be recycled into useable material such as aluminum, plastic, glass and paper.

Our commendations to the Vail community for recognizing recycling’s importance. Our gratitude to Vail’s denizens for choosing the best possible service.
