NWS Church 6-12 CS Vail Daily/Coreen Sapp Built in 1881, the Presbyterian church in Red Cliff will be preserved thanks to an anonymous donor.

RED CLIFF – When Red Cliff church-goers searched for a way to save their historical church, their wishes were answered in the form of a $150,000 anonymous donation.

Now the members of the Red Cliff Community Church are keeping their end of the deal.

Parishioners have launched a fund-raising effort to pay back 50 percent of the purchase price to the anonymous donor. As part of that effort, the group is selling T-shirts with a screened picture of Mount of the Holy Cross.

The shirts can be purchased at the church’s 8 a.m. Sunday service or by calling 1-866-856-2787. For those who aren’t able to make the trip to Red Cliff, the T-shirts are available for sale at the Route 6 Cafe, 41310 U.S. Highway 6 and 24 in Eagle-Vail.
