Red Cliff holds town board election Tuesday

Vail Daily staff report
Vail, CO Colorado

RED CLIFF – The winners of four seats on Red Cliff’s town board of trustees in Tuesday’s election are a foregone conclusion. Their terms, however, are not.

Incumbent trustees Adam Williams, Amanda Armour and Garrett Scahill and challenger Valarie Blevins are seeking four-year terms. The three highest voters will get them. The candidate who finishes fourth in the voting will serve a two-year term.

Blevins will replace Trustee Dan Wallace, who chose not to run for re-eleciton.

Mayor Ramon Montoya and Trustees Betty Sandoval and Duane Nelson all have two years left on their terms.

Voting takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday at Red Cliff Town Hall. For more information, contact Red Cliff Town Clerk Barb Smith at 970-827-5303 or
