Referendum 4A axed by voters

Cliff Thompson

The Colorado River Conservation District proposed the measure, saying it would provide money for Western Slope reservoirs and water delivery systems by allowing it to keep tax dollars when property values rise.

Eagle County residents voted down the measure, 2,900 to 2,603, while voters across the Water District region affected by Referendum 4A did likewise.
