What goods or services do you provide? ResortApp is the Vail Valley’s premier vacation guide app for smartphones. ResortApp offers the ability to search for restaurants, shopping, galleries, activities and friends and family in our valley. With its GPS-based navigation tool, it allows the user to locate whatever they are searching for. ResortApp also gives the user real-time updates on parking availability in both of our parking structures.

What’s new or exciting at your place? Because of its resourceful applications and uses, ResortApp has been named the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships app. You can receive an updated schedule of events, live results, leader board information, news and highlights. The app also allows users to go paperless. No longer do they need to carry maps and publications to figure out what’s going on in and around town.

What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? We designed ResortApp with one guiding strategy: guest service. We researched many ski areas in the U.S. and the apps associated. Our investigation found the interaction with these apps left a great deal to be desired. Most of the apps were put together with shoestring budgets by organizations overseas and were hoping they would fly with minimal information loaded via social media channels. Our goal is to provide an accurate, comprehensive and informative tool for guests helping to promote everything our unique mountain resort has to offer. Go ahead, try it out. It’s fun to see yourself, your family and friends in their exact locations, as well as being able to find what you’re craving and how to get there.

What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? We designed our business to optimize our clients’ exposure to our guests. Therefore, we consider our clients as partners and ambassadors for our app. If they are not happy, they cannot convey to their customers what makes them happy about us.

What can your customers expect from you? A long and sustainable business relationship based on mutual respect and mutual benefit.
