Rifle man wanted on N.M. warrant for sexual assault
GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado ” Garfield County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted on a New Mexico warrant for sexual assault of a child.
Authorities say the active warrant from the Otero County sheriff’s office in Alamogordo, N.M., accuses 75-year-old Ruben Nevarez-Lopez of six counts of sexual assault on a child.
Nevarez-Lopez’s last known address was the Cottonwood Mobile Home Park in Rifle, Colo. Investigators say he may still live in the area.
Details about the allegations against Nevarez-Lopez were not immediately available.
