EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado – Still not sure how you’re going to celebrate the New Year? Don’t worry. We’ve done the leg work for you. Here’s a round-up of what bars and restaurants from Vail to Eagle have going on tonight. Champagne toasts? Check. Fireworks? Yep. Swanky all-inclusive bashes? Of course. VAIL Party at CinebistroCinebistro is hosting a New Year’s Eve bash that includes a DJ spinning music in the lounge from 9 p.m. to midnight, a champagne toast at midnight, passed appetizers in the lounge from 9 to 11 p.m. and the choice of late night showing of either “Ocean’s Eleven” or “When Harry Met Sally” (limited seating, first come, first served). Towards the end of his sets he can often be seen on the dance floor, mingling and dancing with the same people who came to see him perform. Torchlight ski down and fireworksHolidays in Vail, the annual celebration presented by the town of Vail, concludes on New Year’s Eve with a fireworks show and other family-friendly activities.The fun begins at approximately 6:15 p.m. with Vail’s traditional New Year’s Eve torchlight ski down and fireworks show at Golden Peak. The event is free and open to the public. The best place to view the event is from the Golden Peak base area; however, the event can be viewed from many locations throughout Vail Village.
