Robbins family needs supports
Vail CO, Colorado
As many of our Vail friends know, my husband, Jim Robbins, had a heart attack in June 2006. His life was saved by the East Vail Fire Department, the ambulance crew, Vail Medical Center Emergency Staff, and he went on to Denver PSL and recovery.
On Dec. 28, 2007, the Vail Medical Center Emergency Staff discovered that his headache of several days was caused by a slow bleed between the skull and brain.
Surgery at Rose Medical Center was successful and rehab is nearing completion at Spalding in Aurora. I am trying to find a short-term, in-patient and Medicare-approved facility as close to Vail as possible to facilitate return to altitude at 8,150 ” with medical supervision. Along with the surgery, pneumonia has to be eliminated.
Glenwood Springs Valley View Hospital has such a facility, but altitude is lower and it’s a long trip from Aurora. If you have a lead, please call 476-3750 (let it ring as it is same number as Alaskan Shop and has to cross over).
Sincere thanks, Jeannie Robbins.
