Rocky Mountain park fatality identified

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colorado – A climber who died after falling from a ledge on Longs Peak has been identified as a 26-year-old man from Broomfield.
Boulder County Coroner Thomas Faure says Benjamin R. Hebb died while technical climbing the North Chimney Route of the 14,259-foot mountain.
Rangers on a climbing patrol witnessed the fall at 8 a.m. Friday. They say the man fell about 800 feet to a glacier.
Rocky Mountain National Park is about 70 miles northwest of Denver.
