EAGLE — Dynamic jamming, juking and backward booty blocking will all have a place at The Mountaineers vs. The Slamazons roller derby bout on Saturday at the Eagle Pool and Ice Rink. The 10th Mountain Roller Dolls host the Denver Roller Dolls for a not-to-miss skating spectacular. Spectators can enjoy brews and concessions throughout the event. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door. Students and seniors pay $5, and children younger than 5 and the military are admitted for free.

The 10th Mountain Roller Dolls Mountaineers faced the Pikes Peak Derby Dames Slamazons in an intense bout last spring. The 10th Mountain Roller Dolls advanced the score 180-163 to take the win after two lead changes and the fear of losing key players to penalty expulsion. Come cheer them on at this exciting rematch.

The event benefits Girls on the Run of the Western Slope and is made possible by a number of generous sponsors. For more information, view the event at http://www.10thmountainrollerdolls.com
